Impactful and solid are the words that come to mind when you see the Newstead bedstead. With a horizontal plank headboard (and optional footbaord) design, and larger than standard corner posts it screams durable solid construction. The choice is yours when it comes to a footboard. Choose one that mirrors the headboard (HFE) for a pleasingly symmetrical and traditional look or opt for the low foot end (LFE), which can often give the illusion of space in a smaller room. Which one will you go for?

It features concealed fixings, a solid timber slat of a high quality and more slats than many other manufacturers provide, which are all individually screwed for further strength. 
There is no central support rail required for the Newstead due to the strength of the slats, but one can be supllied if further strength is required, additional slats are also avialable. (additioanl charges apply please conact us for further details, prior to ordering)
